Romanian outlet ProSport ran an in-depth feature on our club. FC Real Sireți President Vladimir Rebeja explained how the project began, what lies behind its rapid growth and where the club is heading.

How it all started
The club was founded on 1 March 2023 on the initiative of Vladimir Rebeja and four other people who shared a passion for football. From day one the goal was twofold: a football school for children and a competitive senior team that would give local young people the chances the founders never had.
The secret of growth
The president credits teamwork, discipline and perseverance. The club has grown step by step, focusing on player development, rigorous training and close cooperation between coaches, players and staff — which kept the team united in difficult moments too.
The Sevilla FC partnership

A key milestone is the cooperation agreement signed with Sevilla FC. Without going into contractual details, Vladimir Rebeja explained that the partnership gives access to a modern approach to organisation and development — for both the football school and the first team. In physical preparation, the club looks to the highest standards, drawing on the principles of Antonio Pintus, Real Madrid’s former fitness coach.
Winter Cup, stadium and mascot

During the winter break the team won the Winter Cup — a pre-season tournament that confirmed the quality of the off-season work. The club has its own natural-grass stadium in Sireți, and its facilities are constantly improving. The club mascot is the wolf, a symbol of unity, courage and team spirit, chosen also to bring the club closer to children and fans.

Looking ahead
In five years, the president sees FC Real Sireți as a stable, respected club with a strong academy producing its own players, capable of playing for big clubs. At the time of the interview the team was fighting for promotion from Liga 1 — a goal reached in May 2026, when FC Real Sireți won the play-off and moved up to Liga 7777.
