Our club’s rise has caught the attention of the Romanian sports press. Sport.ro published a feature on FC Real Sireți’s journey from its founding to Liga 7777, the top division of Moldovan football.
Three seasons, two promotions
Officially founded in 2023, the club entered the Football Association of Moldova competitions, and the first big step came in 2024/2025: winning the Liga 2 South series with 18 wins, two draws and just one defeat, and a goal difference of 93–18.
In 2025/26 the team finished second in Liga 1 and won promotion through the play-off: 5–2 against FC Oguz in the quarter-final, 1–0 against Iskra Rîbnița in the semi-final and 1–0 against FC Florești in the final.
The Sevilla experience
The article also recalls our delegation’s visit to Sevilla FC in autumn 2025, as part of an exchange programme on talent development and scouting. The authors compare the club’s path with the rapid rises of Veris Chișinău and Sheriff Tiraspol.
Our first Liga 7777 season is a challenge, but every match at this level means experience and growth. Thank you to our fans for their support!
